Tommy Clement was no stranger to the telecom industry before joining DRFortress in May 2020. His resume included 16 years of industry experience at companies in Hawaii such as TWTC, TW Telecom, Level 3 Communications and CenturyLink.
He says that before he even joined the DRFortress team he already had an admiration for the company.

As a current Sales Account Manager at DRFortress, he assists with accounts acquisitions, introduces partner resources to align the optimal solution(s), and assists clients through their digital transformations to gain efficiencies, delivers cost savings and achieves goal attainment. He says what enjoys most about his job is the exceptional team he works alongside every day.
“Everyone is committed to supporting the ideal customer experience. We empower one another on a daily basis and are always willing to go the extra mile to exceed a customer’s service expectations.”
In his role, going the extra mile can mean a lot of different things including recently being contacted by a DRFortress carrier customer and partner who requested assistance with securing an emergency satellite internet solution.
“We engaged one of our partners and are actively assisting to secure the optimal solution stemming from an undersea cable break.”
When he is not helping to grow the company, which is proudly the largest and the only carrier-neutral data center and cloud marketplace operating in Hawaii, Tommy makes the most of his time in Honolulu by spending time with loved ones and friends and making it a mission to pay it forward, a part of his day-to-day life. He says he also takes the time to enjoy the beauty of Hawaii either through bodysurfing, growing orchids, cooking, or enjoying playing with his two dogs Mahina and Hokulani.
